I started this series from the beginning. I have loved each and every book. Reading about the Gallo family can really warm your heart. There is such an amazing connection between the Gallo family. I love that the men in the Gallo family love their women hard. I also love Izzy which is who the book is about. She is sassy, boss, and very demanding. You would think being a strong that she was that she would have not fear, but she does.I did try using the whispersync feature with this book but ended up having to just follow along with the audio. Amazon just was not working with me. I tried on several Kindles. I will say this, the narrators did a wonderful job.
Izzy is almost to brave for her own good. She does not like being bossed around and does not like taking advice. She will make some bad choices in this book and find herself in danger. She is not only putting her life in danger but others as well. Sorry want to know more well I guess you will have to read the book.
We got to meet James in a previous book. The chemistry between James and Izzy was something. I just loved James. He was working with Izzy’s brother trying to help keep him safe. He was good friends with Thomas. I just loved how James was determined not to give up on Izzy. He excepted how hard headed she was and knew he would have to be patience with her. She will truly try his patience.
I loved when James met the family. We all know how Izzy’s brother’s could be. They did not want to see their sister with any man. They loved to throw threats around. How will they act around James?
There are a few surprises along the way. Oh, and don’t worry there are a few steamy parts as well. I truly loved this story and can not wait to read the next book in the series.

Izzy and James!
Out of all the Gallos, Izzy is my all time favorite!
She is full of spunk and NOBODY can tame her, not even Flash, her every now and then 'BootyCall'. And then James comes around.
Izzy is the only girl out of 5 kids. So with four brothers you can bet that shes tough and doesn't take any crap from anyone. Especially no guy!
And then her brothers [City and Suzys] wedding comes around and guess who's there. Thats right, James. James promises her one night of bliss and nothing else. And thats exactley what happens. After one night they go their seperate ways and a few weeks later Flash and Izzy decides to go to Florida for a Vacation, suppost to have the best time of their life. And then the intankable happens, Izzy finds herself in some trouble and Her brother sends some backup to help her out. And who is it?! You guessed it. James his-self.
So,who is this James?! Well James is the Alpha of the bunch. He can tame Izzy and Well hes just the guy for her. Nobody has been able to tame, control Izzy until him.
James is also into BDSM. Its tame but its there. You get to know Izzy and James in this book very well.
Resist Me is the 2nd part of Izzy and James story. The first book, well Novella is 'Resisting'. Resisting is the book that tells all about Their one night 'bliss' from City's Wedding. Its not required to read because Resist Me gets you caught up pretty quickly but you can get to know James in that one. And get to know Izzy and her spunk. I fell in love with This couple in the Novella, but it deepened in Resist Me.
So would i reread this book?! I would reread the whole serie. So that is a most deff YES!
Would i recommend this book, or Do i recommend this book?! Absolutely.

Not only does Chelle decide to through hot as sin alpha James at us but we also get sexy alpha female Izzy in this one too. I mean i never expected anything other than over the top from Izzy but throw in James and it never gets boring. Neither of them are able to give up or step down. They battle with everything and the hotness is off the charts. I loved how strong Izzy is and the fact James is able to break her down little by little makes me love her more. She is so strong and true to the Gallo name, she is over the top demanding. James rips through all that and completely changes her thoughts on love and what its like to give in just a little. I loved these two and their story and cant wait to see what happens with Thomas!!
After reading the other stories, I was so ready for Izzy’s book. I just knew when a man came into Izzy’s life it was going to knock her down a few notches and believe me James did just that…and so much more!!!! This book has been the most emotional one so far because Izzy refuses to believe in love or that any man can change her but James knows that Izzy is different and he is just the man for her.
I could understand why Izzy didn’t want to be tied down at first. She had a wonderful child hood and her parents loved each other but when surrounded by nothing but over barring men your whole life… I am sure it would drive any woman crazy. I honestly think James is the most dominant man in this series so far. He definitely does not put up with Izzy’s mouth or her fits she throws. James is so brutally honest and I fell in love! I hate spoilers so you have to read this book and now I am ready for Thomas! Chelle has hooked me on this series… AMAZING!
