Lawd Tae I swear you did that! You got me sitting at my desk all emotional like I really knew La. Now what I wasn't expecting was Carae's secret. I honestly didn't feel bad for Kenndi because the one person she tried so hard to one up is the same one she needed in the end. Patrick was a shock and I never liked Sandra. Copeland started realizing his mistakes too late but was trying to make up everything with his new situation. I will say I admired Carae for the most part until I found out the role she played in the whole situation. La couldn't catch a break and the situation with Tareen didn't make it any better. Man I loved La and was wishing that there'd be something that could be done before his time was up. Not all stories will end happily ever after but I'll be damned if La didn't prove good men still exist. Great way to end the series!Product details

This was a decent book.... Thinking I need to read the first two books.... I was confused on what was going on with some of the characters. Confused on the end as well did Carae really love LA, or was it all a set up???? The book flowed and kept u intrigued...
Im soooo sorry but i HATEDDDDDDDD this book with a passion and the way it ended! Matter of fact I'm not sorry at all its my opinion i love reading and i understand every bok can't have a happy ever after but come on bruh.... I'm so disappointed in this mess.. but I knew it was bad when 1) had to reread part 2 out of my library 2) I kept stopping n had to convince myself it would get better ..smh..
I really hated the way that the story ended. Carae and La were the true definition of a real love story. They had a special type of chemistry. She was that chick and he was a great husband and protector. I hated the fact that he kept his sickness from her, but I can understand why he did so. It was because of his love for her. Overall, this was a great series.
I read and read until there was nothing left to read. There were minor mistakes, but they didn't take away from the story. Carae the so called self made boss chick shocked me at the end. She appeared sweet, but she was as vindictive as ever. Karma paid them all a visit, but in different ways. Poor Kennedi suffered the worst, and La was not too far behind. This is supposed to be the end, but I wonder????
A book that kept getting better. No matter how much u love someone u can not control their actions. Envy will destroy some of they greatest relationships. My vision of La was a man that Loved like no other. If this was really the end I can truly say I'm fulfilled with this book. Heartbreak, love, deceit, an success were released into my mind from this journey. This series is in my top 5 books. I loved it to the very end..... The End
I'm sorry La had to leave just when life was falling in place, but death makes nn appointments and comes at the most inopportune times. Carae finally had the life she truly deserved. However, with life comes death. Its just a shame she had to lose one love to gain another. I hope Copeland becomes a better man and doesn't allow alcohol to cause his demise again. I wish the author would have given us more detail about Patrick and Sandra though. As the saying goes, keep your friends close and enemies even closer.
La didn't deserve to go out like that and neither did Kennedi! IDK what Carae had going on but this was a juicy story. She found the love of her life only to find out that her time with him would be limited. Carae's father and La did some ish together that will threaten to destroy their relationship with Carae if they don't tell her in time. Who is trying to frame La? The plot thickens as Carae is called to Copeland's house, what will she find when she gets there? Is it too late? What will become of La? Great way to end the trilogy!
